The Family Reunion Committee met virtually last night to discuss the go forward plan for this years reunion. After thoughtful consideration, we’ve decided to postpone the reunion until 2021. This was not an easy decision.
We’ve been monitoring COVID-19 guidance from the governor and guidelines for safe group gathering. Given that our group will likely exceed 200 participants (similar to 2018) and there will likely be several elderly family members in attendance, we felt this was the best decision to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being including avoidance of lost deposits due to late cancellation.
If you are registered for the reunion, you may request a refund or roll your fees over to next year. No judgment or questions asked. All refunds will be made in full within 48 hours (less any fees imposed by PayPal which goes directly to them). Just let us know what you decide. You can DM me at firstname.lastname@example.org.If you decide to roll your fees over to next year, you will automatically be registered for the reunion. We will send you a confirmation after all refunds have been processed. No further action is required. You just need to let us know your decision: refund or rollover.
These are “critical times hard to deal with.” We are family and we will get through this together. Hug your family. Hold your children. Talk to them about what’s going on in this world and give them hope that this will pass.Next year, our reunion will be SPECTACULAR! We will hug, kiss and rejoice in each other’s company. Until then, stay safe, healthy and hopeful.
Love you all, Laura2021 Family Reunion Chair and the Family Reunion Committee (Rachelle, Ronnie, Lisa, Gina and Marvin)
